PowerPoint to PDF
Turn a PowerPoint presentation into a PDF with one slide per page. The conversion runs on your device, so the file is never uploaded.
Fonts the converter doesn’t have are replaced with similar ones, so lines can break in different places than in the original.

What happens to your file
Everything below happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your presentation is never uploaded, so nobody else, including us, can see it.
- The first time you open this page, your browser downloads the converter: LibreOffice, the free office suite, compiled to run inside a web page. It is stored on your device, so it is only downloaded once.
- Each download is checked against a fingerprint (SHA-256) before it is used, so a damaged or altered converter is never run.
- When you press “Convert”, a fresh copy of the converter starts in the background, opens your presentation and draws every slide the way LibreOffice Impress would.
- Each slide becomes one page of the same size. Pictures keep their quality, and text stays real text.
- Calibri, Arial and other common fonts are replaced by fonts with exactly the same width. Thai fonts are replaced by Sarabun.
- The converter is then closed, and its memory is freed.
- Choose a PowerPoint file
- Press “Convert to PDF”
- Check the slides
- Download the PDF
How to convert PowerPoint to PDF
- Choose a .pptx or .ppt file, or drop it on the box. OpenDocument presentations (.odp) work too.
- On a computer with Chrome or Edge, you can tick “Use fonts installed on this computer” so text keeps its original look.
- Press “Convert to PDF”. The first time, the bar also includes downloading the converter.
- Look over the first slides, then download the PDF.
About fonts in slides
- Text boxes on a slide have a fixed size. If a replacement font is wider than the original, a line can wrap and text can run past the bottom of its box.
- Calibri, Arial, Times New Roman, Courier New and Cambria are replaced by fonts with exactly the same widths, so this rarely happens with them. Thai fonts are replaced by Sarabun, which has different widths.
- On a computer, using the fonts installed there keeps slides closest to how they look in PowerPoint.
When people use it
Sharing slides after a talk
Send the slides as a PDF that opens on any phone, without PowerPoint and without moving anything around.
Printing handouts
Print the PDF, or use Multiple pages per sheet to put several slides on one page.
Submitting work
Schools and conferences often ask for slides as PDF.
Private presentations
Internal plans and reports are converted on your device instead of on someone else’s server.
What it can’t do
- Animations, transitions, video and sound can’t be kept in a PDF. Each slide is shown as it looks at the end of its animations.
- Speaker notes are not included.
- Fonts that are not in the converter are replaced, so text can wrap differently inside its box.
- Some effects, such as 3D, certain SmartArt and newer chart types, may look different.
- Password-protected presentations must be unlocked in PowerPoint first. The first conversion needs to download the converter, and it needs a lot of memory.
Questions about PowerPoint to PDF
Is my presentation uploaded?
No. The converter runs inside your browser, and your file never leaves your device.
Is each slide one page?
Yes. Every slide becomes one page with the same size and shape as the slide. Hidden slides are left out.
Are animations kept?
No. A PDF can’t play animations, so each slide shows everything that would appear on it.
Can I put several slides on one page?
Convert first, then use Multiple pages per sheet to place 2, 4, 6 or 9 slides on each page for handouts.
Does it work with Thai text?
Yes. Thai is drawn with the Sarabun font, and text in the PDF can be searched and copied.
Why does the first conversion take longer?
The converter has to be downloaded once. Your browser keeps it for next time.
